Notably, the kit doesn't provide digital capabilities, long-range antennas, or the superior H42 headset found in advanced kits. The radio is compatible with all VHF/UHF business band radios operating on the same frequencies, including RDM-DB, M1, RDH-X, R1, V3, RM60, RH5R, RDH16, as well as Icom, Motorola, and Kenwood business band radios.
